Israel remained open to inbound tourism, with Ben Gurion Airport operating normally (Terminal 1 handling international departures since 1 July). Two developments had hardened since the prior cycle without directly restricting civilian travel to the five standard tourist regions: the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem extended, for a second time (28 July), its own restriction on personal West Bank travel by U.S. government staff and their families, this time with no stated end date; and ITA Airways and Austrian Airlines (Lufthansa Group) — both of which suspended Israel service around 24–27 July — remained unconfirmed on resumption for a second consecutive cycle. Wider regional Gulf/Iran tensions remained active with no ceasefire, but no source found any effect on Israeli airspace, Ben Gurion, or any tourist site.
