📣 Status bulletin — Israel is open and operating; four of five tourist regions are GREEN, one (Negev & Eilat) carries an advisory-caution YELLOW flag. The binding constraint this month is not security but airport congestion. The Airports Authority expects roughly 2.6 million passengers and 47 airlines including Israeli carriers at Ben Gurion during August, has named five peak dates (6, 13, 17, 20 and 27 August) at around 100,000 passengers each, and is advising passengers to arrive three hours before departure. Punctuality in late July ran at roughly a third of departures on time. Home Front Command has no active directives for the civilian population and no sirens or alerts have been reported anywhere in Israel since 28 July. On carriers, Condor began daily Frankfurt service on 2 August and Brussels Airlines returned on 1 August, while American Airlines extended its absence to late March 2027. ⚠ Air Canada’s resumption date is unreconciled between the carrier’s own notice and trade reporting — confirm directly before committing autumn space.
